Trails Day Hike - 2019 Bird Walk at Greenstone Hollow Preserve Saturday, June 1, 2019 9:00 am – 11:00 am Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hartford Audubon Society's Greenstone Hollow Nature Preserve for this year’s Trails Day.  The 2-hour, leisurely bird walk will start at 9:00am at the preserve’s entrance.  We’ll travel about 1 ½  miles on trails through mixed woodlands and fields, across wetlands and near ponds.  We will stop frequently to look at and listen to birds. …

Join Hartford Audubon members as we participate in COA’s 22 annual Summer Bird Count. Species and numbers are counted on this 2-day tally within our Christmas Count circle. Bird one day or both and help collect breeding bird data and track species trends for Connecticut.
