DESCRIPTION:“Rays of the Sun” – A Hummingbird Sampler \nSpeaker: Chris Wood \nChris will present an illustrated discussion on hummingbirds\, one of birders’ favorite families. Called “rays of the sun (huitzitzil)” by the Aztecs\, who also thought them reincarnations of brave warriors\, they have long captured affection for their colors\, boldness\, and diversity. Chris Wood has been an active birder and bird photographer for 45 years.
