DESCRIPTION:7 pm – Social Hour / 7:30 – Program begins. \nSpeaker: Mary Pelletier \nIn 2011\, the City of Hartford was selected to be the eighth U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Urban Bird Treaty city nationwide. This unique initiative brings together federal\, state\, municipal\, non-profit and educational organizations to create bird-friendly habitats and connect citizens with nature through birding and conservation. Mary will review implementation and goals of this treaty\, as well as how other communities can participate.
