Machimoodus Park – Bird Walk – May 10, 2026

From Goodspeed Opera House, follow 149 north to Rt 151
Bear left on 151 and parking lot entrance is on left in 1 mile

This state park is an area new to most HAS members. It has woods,
a hemlock ravine, grassy fields, and early successional habitat
along the Salmon River. Indigo Bunting, Prairie, Blue–winged and
B–T Green Warblers, and Orchard Oriole are expected (but we
guarantee nothing)
