Entrance is just beyond 451 Great Pond Rd, Glastonbury on left

 From Rt. 17 – use south entrance to Great Pond Rd and

drive in 0.2 mi.  Park on south side away from hydrants.

Expect common CT birds as well as migratory. Habitat varies, woodland, water, shrub and field.  Count on chickadee, nuthatch, jay, cardinal, wren.  Many hawk, duck and sparrow species.  There are always some surprises. 2.5 mile walk. Hilly terrain. Bring bug spray and sturdy shoes.
