Great Pond Simsbury Bird Walk – September 12 – Saturday – 8 am

Location:  156 Great Pond Rd, Simsbury

Between Laurel Ln and Old Farms Rd

Meet in parking lot at end of entrance dirt road

An easy walk over a newly widened road leads to Great Pond where we will see waterfowl, shorebirds, migrating warblers and the many types of birds that call this area home.  Usually lasts about 3 hrs, but can leave at any time.  Maximum distance is 1.5 miles.  Bring a spotting scope if you have one.
