Hartford Audubon Society celebrated its 110th year on 1/12/2019!

Hartford Audubon Society in collaboration with Wood Memorial Library celebrated its 110th year.

South Windsor, CT where it all began back in 1909. We couldn’t have chosen a more appropriate location for this celebration.

In the a.m. Paul Desjardins lead a birding walk at Vibert road, named after Charles W. Vibert former president of the “Hartford Bird Study club” now Hartford Audubon Society.

Patrick Comins Executive Director of CT Audubon Society was our speaker. Over 70 people attended the talk about “The Hobby of Birding”

Old and new friends of HAS gather together in celebration!

The HAS 110th Anniversary banner is proudly displayed in front of the beautiful library until mid-May
