Booth Hill, CT Rt 20, West Hartland

From Granby center follow Rt 20 west for 14.8 miles

Park on side of road and walk south less than 100 feet

View Broad-winged Hawks at the peak of their migration through Connecticut.  Bring a chair, binoculars, food and drink, and spend as long as you want – all  day or until the hawks stop. Scopes are helpful if you have one.

This is E-bird Hot Spot L36 https://ebird.org/hotspot/L36. and records species in September:  Broad winged Hawk, Sharp-shinned, red-tailed, Kestrel, Bald Eagle, Osprey, turkey, flycatchers, phoebe, vireos, and others

Hawk watching will go on as long as we are spotting them.  no definite timeframes.
