Walk around this 7.9-acre historic homestead and adjacent town-owned open space.  View the eagles’ nest from the boardwalk which is surrounded by newly planted native species purchased with a HAS grant.  Stroll by the Connecticut River, an inland pond, and the Community Garden plots.  Visit the Corn Crib Garden area home to bluebirds, wrens and hummingbirds.  This area provides a more passive area for those who would like to sit and relax while enjoying birds and butterflies. This area has also been enhanced with the HAS grant.  Butterfly, pollinator, and hummingbird gardens surround the historic barn.
