Various sites on Long Island
Visit Jamaica Bay, Jones Beach, Lake Capri, Belmont Lake, Shinnecock Inlet, Montauk Point, and Shelter Island. Spend Saturday night on Long Island. Return on Ferry Sunday evening. Waterfowl are the main benefits of this trip. While we have seen many rarities (Ross’s Gull, Spotted Redshank, Black-bellied Whistling and Tufted ducks, Ash-throated Flycatcher) they should not be counted on!! Easy walking.
