Springtime Bird Walk

Roaring Brook Nature Center, 70 Gracey Rd, Canton

Meet in the Nature Center parking lot.

The forests and fields of Werner’s Woods, adjacent to Roaring Brook Nature Center, are ideal for an early morning walk during spring migration.  Upwards of 50 species may be seen or heard on a good morning.  Look for warblers, vireos, orioles, tanagers and more on this walk led by Nature Center Director and former HAS President, Jay Kaplan.  Dress for the weather and wear footwear for possible wet ground conditions underfoot. Heavy rain cancels walk. Walk will end early so participants can go home for a Mother’s Day breakfast.
