Pilgrim Road boat launch
We will paddle leisurely in Lord Cove & around Goose & Calves Islands & be in place by dusk for the breathtaking tree swallow display.
Must have: PFD;boat light/ headlamp/flashlight .
Optional: food, water, sunscreen, insect repellent, camera etc.
bathroom access is extremely limited. Be prepared to return in darkness.
Rain cancels.
Directions : Use 2 Pilgrim Landing Rd., Old Lyme, use 2 Pilgrim road as an approximate address for GPS.Directions:
From the east — I-95 South, Exit 70. Straight on US-1 South for 0.6 miles. Right on Route 156 West (Neck Road) for 0.5 miles. Left on Pilgrim Landing Rd. for 0.2 miles and the launch is on the left.
From the west — Take I-95 North, Exit 70. Left on Route 156 West (Neck Road) for 0.7 miles. Left on Pilgrim Landing Rd. for 0.2 miles and the launch is on the left.
I have made arrangements for the rental of single kayaks &/or a canoe. If interested, contact David Zomick ahead of time.
