Montezuma NWR, Perch River WMA, Fort Drum

Ferd’s Bog, Moose River Plains

We will visit several interesting Upper New York birding sites.  Friday we drive to Montezuma NWR, bird the area and then continue up to Watertown, NY, where we stay Friday & Saturday nights.  Saturday we will visit Perch River Wildlife Management Area and Fort Drum. Sunday we drive to Inlet, NY, where we will visit   Ferd’s Bog & Moose Plains Sunday afternoon and Monday before returning home Monday night.  This trip is a mix of birding while driving and a few easy short walks.  You may join or leave this trip at various points – check with Peter for details.
