Five participants enjoyed a fine morning at Dismal Brook, finding 57 species, including 12 warblers. Highlights were a first-of-the-year Swainson’s Thrush, an adult Broad-winged Hawk, an Ovenbird carrying a caterpillar, an obviously mated pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and a show-stopping appearance by a Black-throated Blue Warbler.
