Speaker:  James Paruk PhD

The talk is a blend of experiences and encounters Jim has had with loons, interspersed with the most current detailed account of what we have learned about these amazing birds. Jim Paruk, Ph.D., is a Professor of Biology at St. Joseph’s College, in Maine. He has been studying Common Loons across North America for the past 29 years. Jim recently wrote the book Loon Lessons: Uncommon Encounters with the Great Northern Diver. Please contact Fran with any questions.
