Speaker: Katelyn Kaplan An Insider’s Look at the Rehabilitation of Native Birds - Katelyn Kaplan, Naturalist at the Roaring Brook Nature Center, will give an inside look at the avian patients that arrive into the Center’s rehabilitation clinic each day. The program will discuss emerging threats to native species, medical treatments the clinic provides, and how wildlife rehabilitation impacts species conservation. Continuing a fun tradition, please wear your favorite bird tee-shirt or hat, with a holiday theme if you can! Following dinner we’ll have the annual photo sharing session from members and our tea cup auction. Bring silverware, plate, a dish to share and something for the tea cup auction. June 9, 2020 – Pot Luck Picnic and Bird Walk

June 9, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a bird walk and the company of our members to kick off the summer! A bird walk will be led at 5:00 when we hope to see orchard orioles, indigo buntings, and bluebirds. Bring a dish of your choice, its serving utensils, your place setting, and something to drink. The picnic will conclude with a brief meeting.
