An Insider’s Look at the Rehabilitation of Native Birds – Katelyn Kaplan, Naturalist at the Roaring Brook Nature Center, will give an inside look at the avian patients that arrive into the Center’s rehabilitation clinic each day. The program will discuss emerging threats to native species, medical treatments the clinic provides, and how wildlife rehabilitation impacts species conservation. Katelyn has a BS in environmental sciences, is a federally and state certified wildlife rehabilitator, and was the Center’s clinic manager and raptor care manager for over 8 years.
