Monthly Meeting – 11/14/2023 – Hartford Bird Treaty

In 2011, the City of Hartford was selected to be the eighth U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Urban Bird Treaty city nationwide. This unique initiative brings together federal, state, municipal, non-profit and educational organizations to create bird-friendly habitats and connect citizens with nature through birding and conservation. Mary will review implementation and goals of this treaty, as well as how other communities can participate. She is dedicated to conservation and revival of ecosystem benefits within cities and is a founding Director of Park Watershed.
